In front of a GREAT crowd tonight, the Bulldogs pulled out the win 59-57 over the Polar Bears of Northridge!
The Bulldogs started off slow, down 17-8 at the end of the first. The Bulldogs rebounded, out scoring the Bears 18-11 in the second quarter, to go into the half down 2, 28-26.
The Bulldogs came out firing in the third quarter, holding the Bears to just 8 points, and scoring 18 of their own. The Bulldogs held off the Bears in the fourth quarter making several free throws down the stretch to end the game 59-57.
The Bulldogs were lead by both Blake Brumbaugh and Sam Case.
Blake Brumbaugh – 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks
Sam Case – 16 points and 4 rebounds

The Bulldogs improve to 8-2 overall and 3-2 in the SWBL Buckeye division. This 8-2 start is the best start since the 1996-1997 Bulldogs were 8-2 in their first 10 games. 24 seasons for those of you counting!
