The Bulldogs season came to an end this afternoon as they fell to Deer Park in the District Final.

The Wildcats didn’t miss many shots in the first quarter going 11-14 from the field and 6-7 from beyond the arc, and at the half were up 51-22.

The Bulldogs didn’t back down in the second half, hanging with the Wildcats, but the deficit was just too much to over come. The Bulldogs were lead by Junior, Sam Case with 14 points and 3 rebounds.

The Bulldogs finished the season 16-9, and District Runner-Up. This alone was a great accomplishment for the Boys Basketball program, as the last time the Bulldogs were in the District Final was the year 1999. This group of young men have created a foundation, and set the bar for the future teams to come.

We’re extremely proud of our seniors, Nathan Brumbaugh, Nick Radcliff, Brandon Lavy, Billy Grieshop and Webb Kress for their dedication and hard work the last four years to help get the program to where it is today.

Other notable stats:

Blake Brumbaugh – 8 points and 3 rebounds
Nathan Brumbaugh – 7 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 blocks
Justin Randall – 6 points
Andrew Lambert – 3 points

As a program we appreciate the overwhelming support from parents, fans and the community this season. Let’s continue to pack the gyms in support of these great young men. We will see you all next season! Go Dogs!
